Boarding my cat there for 2 nights, fully indoors, easy to book over the phone, 35 a night and everything is provided and a little room to themselves or up to 3 cats if boarding more than one. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Caring staff and veterinarian. Had to have my beautiful Great Dane "Oddy" put down due to Lymphoma & he went so peacefully in my arms whilst the vet out him down & allowed me time with him before and after. They wrapped Oddy Carefully & helped to get him in the car so I could bring him home to be buried & were so caring & loving! My other Great Dane X Rottweiler, (my best friend), Gabriel, had to then have surgery a week later & the staff were so fantastic that Gabriel did not want to leave there and were fantastic on follow up where Gabriel couldn't wait to get out of the car & go in! 6 months later; I was worried about Gabriel because he was unwell last week & his chest became to bulge, although not in pain, still eating & still active just not as hypo psycho, I rang Red Gum Vet worried yesterday afternoon worried about Lymphoma now in him & although Gabriel was not an immediate emergency they got me in first thing 8:30am this morning. The vet took his time with Gabriel & good news, just fat deposits in chest & fat shamed Gabriel, lol & told me he has an excellent coat & keep doing what I am doing, just cut back on food, well the snacks, lol as Gabriel is getting older & turns 5 in February. Gabriel only a few kilos over weight but because he is not a spring chicken anymore, to watch his snacks/treats & likely the heat wave last week caused Gabriel to have the symptoms he has had as he doesn't cope with the heat whatsoever, despite being in aircon most of the time as he is an inside cuddle bug. Gabriel again loved everyone there and sort attention from staff and veterinarian & all over them like a rash! The veterinarian stated he could do surgery on the chest to remove the lumps, but he prefer not too as surgery impose risks & the lumps were not life threatening & will protect him there. It was nice to know the veterinarian did not use this opportunity to make money out of me like other veterinarians close by to me as I travel to go to Redgum because my Veterinarian close by cannot be trusted & is so apathetic & callous. Today's cost was really fair as well & happy with it. Redgum was also willing to wait for my Pet insurance to pay them when Gabriel had surgery that time & sent me the invoice for the difference, (excess), after the insurance paid a few weeks later which took the burden off of me, especially having to pay for my Great Dane just a week earlier to be put down & he was a large dog. If you want professional caring services for your best friend, companion and leave them in the best of hands, well hands down, this is the place to go!

The absolute best practice in the Mid North. Professional and caring. My five fur kids come here and I am always assured of the very best care for them. We had an emergency with our little dog Joseph. The other vet in Port said they were booked out and when I phoned Red gum they too were booked out but we were told to come to the waiting room and they would squeeze us in between appointments, which they did. Appreciate the help with my dogs. Timmy Dog says woof he doesn't like going to the vet but thanks anyway for removing the grass seeds. After another visit Timmy still doesn't like going to the vet, but we appreciated the quick service and the extra care taken. We are travelling the country, and our dog needs a regular pain injection. This vet practice was really accommodating. We have had issues in some towns not being a local customer. Here at Redgum we got great service and plenty of good advice from Roger the owner. All the staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We are so glad that we chose this vet practice. When you are in a remote area you rely on a vet you can trust. Roger the roving vet comes up to Roxby and Woomera from Port Augusta for 2 days each fortnight, and although you have to book him early he is fantastic, full of knowledge and reliable. And if your animal get sick or Injured he is honest as to whether he thinks you need to make the 1 3/4 to 2/1/2 hour journey for them to see him. Prices are fair too.
