On the 23rd of Jan this year (2025) Dr Ale Arbe Montoya & Practice Manager Steven Castle took over the ownership of the practice from Dr Roger and his wife Louise. We are so grateful for the legacy they have left us and we are excited to continue on their good work and look after you and your pets.
Dr Ale graduated Vet school in 2011 and have been looking after people's pets ever since then. Her area of interest is medicine and she will always strive and recommend the best for my client's animal companions.
Steve comes from an Aviation background where he spent 7 years working at the Roxby Downs Airport as a ground handler and Operations manager and then another 7 years for Alliance Airlines as an Operations Supervisor in Perth. He started working at Redgum in Reception in August 2020 and moved up to Front of House Manager to Practice Manager and now Owner.
As a team, the Redgum Veterinary staff are a fantastic group of vets, nurses and support staff. That means the team at Redgum is able to care for your precious pets veterinary needs. We hope that we can continue providing the great service that Redgum Vet is known for.

The Redgum clinic is a fully equipped and functioning practice. To ensure the best possible care, support and diagnosis for your pets, we carry an extensive range of diagnostic tools and monitoring equipment. This includes digital x-ray processing and ultrasound, as well as surgical support tools.

At Redgum Vet, we offer pet boarding for cats and dogs. Our trained team will provide the highest standard of safety and we ensure that our pet boarding areas are well equipped to suit your pet. Staffed every day, with on-site Veterinary support during office hours, the dogs and cats receive plenty of attention and extra care.

At Redgum we are mainly a small animal Vet clinic. We do provide first aid to other animal species where needed. Occasionally we do provide home & Farm visits when available.
